Hi
I've enabled the ten band equaliser and made a little tweak to suit my tastes. On restarting PCP I find there is a rapid repeating fuzzy chirp sound, like interference on a radio. It's not loud but it is annoying. This is present while the system is on but no music is playing. Once I select a track the 'interference' noise stops.
Reviewing the dialogue boxes the only other change that I can see is that ALSA has set output to 'equal'.
I have two questions:
1. Does anyone have any advice on how I can keep my EQ settings but lose the chirp?
2. Less importantly, can anyone advise me on how to tell picore to retain my custom EQ settings on a reboot as I notice it reverted to the 'reset' in spite of my hitting the 'backup' button?
TIA
Simon
