OK, I just got a new DAC (Black Ice DAC) in house and it works fine with all program material except 192Khz Stuff,
where it stutters and does not play at all. Plays 96Khz stuff just fine.
Spoke to the CEO at Jolida and he is convinced it is a software setting, just as I was convinced it was his DAC.
I also have 3 other DACS in house where LMS Plays the 192Khz just fine, but the CEO is convinced it is a setting
within PiCorePlayer/LMS
This is occurring with the Allo Digione Board and PcP 5.0.1 on the Rpi and LMS 8.0 running on my Synology NAS
Edit: -- I just tried the Qobuz Player out of my laptop with the same 192Khz Material and it played just fine out of the USB Port of my Laptop... Bypassing the Raspberry Pi and LMS... So, maybe there is a setting somewhere in PiCorePlayer to allow the 192Khz Stuff for this DAC? -- Further Edit -- I tried the same stream out of my Laptop to my Teac DAC which indicates how many Bits its receiving... 192Khz from Qobuz and only 48Khz to the Teac DAC, so maybe Not! ....
