I want to use my I2S input on my DAC with PiCorePlayer - Possible?

I have a Topping D90 DAC and it has an I2S input, which I would like to use.

Is this possible by doing this?

1.) Set PiCorePlayer Output to HDMI
2.) Get a Micro HDMI to HDMI cable (From Pi to DAC)

If possible, are there any other considerations?

And anyone have a cable recommendation (Or will all work?)

EDIT: I tried this with a Rpi Model 3 as it has the regular size HDMI cable and I am getting No sound out of my DAC when set to I2S ....
