Custom Browse menu weirdness

I'm sure I have just had a brain cramp here, that I don't see something obvious, but I hope that someone here can give me a clue as to what's going on.

I recently purchased a new computer, and have been trying to move my squeezebox activities over to it. My music is on an external hard disk connected directly to my router. Now, on my old machine, I had several CustomBrowse menus set up to browse my collection of classical music ripped to that hard disk. This all seemed to work fine.

So I installed LMS on to the new computer and set up my menus (as I thought) in exactly the same manner as on the old. But what I found with the setup on the new machine was that when I drilled down the menu to where the composers, artists, or titles should have been listed, I saw nothing, just a blank screen. No composers, no artists, no music titles show. I know the iinfo is available and the system can see it because I can search and find albums, artists, etc, and play music that way.

I finally found, on checking both systems side by side that the mixed tag menus I set up on the new machine have one critical difference from those on the old machine - there is a drop down list to select a library which is available on the old that is missing on the new. As far as I know everything was set up the same way, in fact when I copied the xml for a menu on the old machine to the new, the option to specify the library which was present on the old menu config disappeared.

Both computers are running Windows 7 (old is Home Premium, new is Pro), LMS 7.7.2 r33893, and Custom Browse 2.13.3866.

Can anyone give me any clues?
