PiCorePlayer Squeezelite no audio via LMS while bluetooth works

I really love my piCorePlayer (pCP) and have been using it with Bluetooth for a while now without issues. Today I wanted to level up and got myself a LMS instance running separately from the pCP. And while I see the pCP in LMS, can select it and start playing tracks, I hear no sound on the pCP's side.

Software: piCorePlayer v8.1.0 | www v00017 | linux 5.10.77-pcpCore-v8 (64) | piCore v13.1 | Squeezelite v1.9.9-1391-pCP
Hardware: Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Plus Rev 1.3
DAC: While I have bought what was called the "IQAudio Pi-DAC PRO", I configured the "IQAudioDAC+" for the lack of an exact match

Code:

**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: IQaudIODAC [IQaudIODAC], device 0: IQaudIO DAC HiFi pcm512x-hifi-0 [IQaudIO DAC HiFi pcm512x-hifi-0]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

The current configuration options for squeezelite are "-o hw:CARD=IQaudIODAC -a 80:4::1: "

Please let me know if there is more information I can provide to help debug this together. Thanks for taking your time :)

EDIT1: Just as I posted this, I tried an internet radio station which played back just fine. So the issue seems to be restricted to streaming files from my network share.

EDIT2: I tested a bit more and here is what I found ...

The following media types are playing back and resulting in audio output; i.e. they work:
0, AAC Radio
128kbps CBR, MP3 Radio

LMS shows playing back but no audio output for the following media types (when streaming music from my NAS or via Spotty):
320k VBR, Ogg Vorbis (Spotify)
1342kbps VBR, flc
128kbps CBR, wma

After I try playing back any of these, not even the previously working internet radios work until I restart squeezelite.
