Triode Spotify 2.2.8 on QNAP TS-209 - Helper App not running

Hello,

I am dying to get spotify to work on my QNAP TS-209 and SB Duet. QNAP firmware has been updated to latest version. Architexture is armv5tel-linux.

I have installed Triode's plugin v2.2.8 on LMS v7.7.2. (I havent had any previous spotify installation)

My helper app is not running. There is no info in the log. The self test just verify that the helper app is not running.
Installation path for pluging is: /opt/ssods4/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotify/Bin/arm-linux/spotifydnoflac

I have read most threads available on this issue and have tried to log onto the Qnap via SHH (putty) but I dont know much about the basic commands so I cant really get the helper app started manually or open the log manually or manually delete all earlier installation attemps (all of which I suppose I should try from reading earlier threads) - so I am kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place here.

Can anyone help, please? Would be really appreciated. Apoligies in advance if people are getting fed up with dealing with this issue :-)
