Local Player on Mac OS Monteray

Asking for a friend :p

I'm trying to help someone (who is also helping someone) install LMS with Local Player on an iMac running Monterey.

I only have Catalina, but reckon that is close enough for Jazz:)

I know in the past I had to give up (:confused:) with Local Player and use Ralphy's standalone Squeezelite package.

What does the Panel think ?

Edit: Can Local Player on a Mac OS be updated in a fashion similar to the method used for a Windows 10 Desktop ?
