I have various problems with BBC iPlayer Listen Again streams cutting out (stopping completely, not just rebuffering) that I am fairly sure are due to problems at my ISP.
However, a new issue has come up in the last couple of days, using iPlayer Extra Listen Again.
The stream will suddenly stop producing sound, and the Now Playing display will recycle the time. That is the time remaining will show (say) 20 minutes 45 seconds, count down to 20 minutes 40 seconds and then go back to 20.45 and again. What's happening here, and can I do anything about it?
I've found Listen Again hopelessly unreliable since the BBC change in February (was that when it was), with programs just stopping in the middle, but that does seem to be my ISP not coping with the repeated change in URL that I gather the new chunking method uses. I am in the UK..
