I've been a longtime MusicIP user in a Windows environment, before switching over to Vortexbox, with only a headless MusicIP install. Due to recent developments in interacting with MusicIP I restarted using MusicMagicMixer, the GUI for the analysis and creation of filters, playlists, moods ..., on Windows. This did however tell me that around 7500 of my files were "unanalyzable", whereas the headless installation on the Vortexbox only reported around 400 non-mixable files.
Trying to get KDE running on Vortexbox, to be able to run the MusicMagicMixer on Linux, I've managed to so thoroughly screw things up that it didn't even boot anymore :p
I've installed a new(er) pc with Ubuntu 16.04, 64-bit OS, installed LMS according to the steps outlined in the Wiki, installed MusicIP according to the steps outlined on the Spicefly website and everything works quite well, except for launching MusicMagicMixer, which was the purpose of the exercise ...
When executing the "./MusicMagicMixer" command nothing at all happens :(
