Need help trouble shooting a line out audio problem [More details inside]

Background information

I use my Raspberry Pi as a music streaming device.

Music is stored on a server running Open Media Vault and running Logitech Media Server.

The Raspberry Pi acts as the client, it runs Max2Play and plugs in to some speakers via line out.

When looking at the Logitech Media Server interface I can see the music is playing, but I am not getting any sound through my speakers.


Can you help me trouble shoot this issue?

I am not sure if I should be adjusting a setting on the Logitech Media Server software or on the Max2Play software?

Perhaps the software isn't the issue and it's something else?

Any advice or feedback is welcome.
