TrackStat - Remove all data not working

I want to clear all TrackStat data so click on Remove all data in TrackStat settings, verify by then clicking Backup to file and viewing the backup file, which is then empty but then at some point from somewhere, all the ratings / data appear again. Sometimes it's reflected in the scheduled overnight backup, I've tried flushing the cache on my iPeng app, restoring the Squeezebox Touch back to factory settings but the data has just re-appeared today and I can't understand why.

Any help with how to troubleshoot, much appreciated.
