TRACKSTATRATINGNUMBER in browsing the library

I have included TRACKSTATRATINGNUMBER in my title formatting and applied it to my player. It works fine when showing the current playlist, but seems to be ignored when browsing the library on a Squeezebox Classic. I'm sure this used to work! It's the same on the web front end too, which I can illustrate:


(not shown on the left while browsing the library, is shown on the current playlist on the right) - my title format is:
{TRACKSTATRATINGNUMBER} ARTIST COMPOSER ~ TITLE

What am I missing?
