Problem with Upnp Bridge.

Hello
I have installed Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 - 1498468656 on Ubuntu Server 16.04.2 LTS.
I added the plugin UPnP / DLNA bridge but I have this error:
"Configuration file missing - create one by clicking" generate "or, if autosave is on, refresh this page"
The problem is that I do not have the "generate" button.

I checked: "Start the Bridge" but it is: "Not Running".

I have the following error in the LMS log:
"[17-06-27 13: 26: 23.1353] Plugins :: UPnPBridge :: Squeeze2upnp :: start (92) no binary set"

I went through the forum but I could not find a solution.
I restart many time, re-install also but nothing seems to work
Can you help me please?

Motor boating sound when Squeezelite loads in picoplayer

I've been trying to beat back a noise issue while trying to build a portable player with 7" screen. My issue seemed to be caused by trying to use a dual output PSU. Today I tried separate PSU's. One for the RSP3, screen, hard drive, etc. and one for an 18w stereo amplifier. It works fine except for a very faint motor boating sound coming from the speakers. I noticed that the noise starts when Squeezelite loads. I'm using picoreplayer 3.20 with SL.

Oddly enough, to me, I don't hear any noise when using headphones hooked to the RCA outputs of the DAC+. Only when I run the output to a amplifier.

Any ideas or is it just a coincidence that the noise starts when Jivelite loads?

Help installing SrvrPowerCtrl

Edited: I finally made it work by following #2125 and #2138 in

I had to reinstall Vortexbox 2.4 - Fedora 23 from scratch and of course that included SBS. Previously I had everything running smoothly. On the same machine, the same software and only with a different SSD. However, now when installing SrvrPowerCtrl I am unable to make it work.
I installed pm-utils and then manually installed the plugin. All went smoothly. I then followed instructions as per

When I tested the script with

I installed the plugin several times but to always get the same error.

Squeezelite freezing raspberry pi

Hi all,

I'm tearing my hair out, so I'm hoping someone might have some advice to help me.

I've been trying for days to get a stable Squeezelite running on one of my Pi's, but every time I initiate Squeezelite it slows the Pi down and starts skipping badly (SSH also slows to an unresponsive crawl, despite CPU/Memory resources looking fine).

I've tried both PiCorePlayer and also Raspbian Lite - both show the same behavior.

Changing network setup hasn't fixed it, different USB DAC made no difference, different power supply made no change.

Any ideas? Any suggestions on stuff I should try?

Help with custom clock NP screensaver

I've just reinstalled LMS on a new computer and restored all my track stats. I've always used a custom clock screensaver on my Radios, but I can't remember how I originally got it showing ratings. I used to be able to see asterisk stars instead of the text "TRACKSTAT" like you see in my picture. Songs without a rating or from internet radio would be blank in that space. Please refresh my memory... What am I missing?

Band's Campout - My Collection no longer working

It looks like Bandcamp changed how they present collections. Instead of one large page they now have separate pages for your purchased music and your wishlist. Which is awesome for using the website, but breaks Band's Campout.

Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?

Official Spotify plugin / Spotify Protocol Handler suddenly no longer working

You should try to reduce your LMS environment to the max. I'm pretty
sure your issues have nothing to do with Spotify. The only oddities in
your log date back to before Spotty's installation. Please disable all
3rd party plugins, MusicIP etc. and try again. If that solves the issue,
add them back one-by-one.

BTW: your complete log file brought a totally unrelated (and harmless)
issue to my attention:

IPeng 9.3 not connecting to server

I have been using iPeng 9.3 to control my Transporter. I have iPeng 9.3 installed on both my iPhone 7 Plus and also my wife's iPhone 7 Plus.
I was using it earlier today successfully. But this evening when loading iPeng on MY iPhone it says No Player Found. I have tried uninstalling iPeng 9.3 and then reinstalling it from the App Store. But it keeps saying No Player Found. It cannot connect to my Transporter.

I've just checked my wife's iPhone and iPeng is not working on her iPhone either. Same problem.

Should iPeng auto detect my Transporter? My iPhone is on the same wifi network as my Transporter. We only have the one wifi network anyway.

I am running LMS server software version 7.9 using the latest build dated 12 July. I also tried reinstalling the latest 7.9 build to see if that made any difference and it didn't.

Any ideas would be appreciated

Any up-to-date Android apps?

Just switched to Android and whilst there are a few apps in the Play store, many are old and haven't been updated for ages. Maybe I have overlooked it, but I couldn't find anything with a modern MDL.
Currently I am using Squeezer, which although free does everything well, contains no ads, I'm just not mad keen on the design.

Any ideas chaps?

I have added rules for mp3, and I think I did test bitrate limiting.
Running the server with player.source=info would tell you more.

Spotty and Family Account - Assign User toplayer?

Hi

I am contemplating a family subscription for spotify, but would like to know one thing in advance: is it possible to assign a member of the family to one player, i.e. that children only live with their player in their “spotify world (favourites, playlists, …) and do not populate other playlists with their music?

Yep, strange question since picoreplayer is ment to act as squeezebox player.
I'm using a dedicated pi for LMS part op picoreplayer so I don't use the player part on that pi.

Guide to installing BBC iPlayer

Please could you someone provide me with some simple advice on how to install BBC iplayer.

I am using picoreplayer 3.20. I have installed the bbciplayer that is on the list of plugins. It plays live ( has no icons) but does not play the non-live areas. I assume I need to update the plugin to the latest. Not sure how I do this - do I take the xml URL link and put it in the extra repositories and then apply and then re-boot? This does not appear to work

I have read through many of the threads but with the hundreds of responses it is difficult to follow. Using picoreplayer - do I need to save anything before I reboot? How does the selection of the plugin get from in memory onto disk so it can be read when re-booted ....

So in summary if someone out there can give me a quick guide that would be great.

Erland,

I tried to update the repository file. But the update script doesn't
find any updates in your latest.xml. Could you please tell me what
version numbers there should be?

EDIT: never mind. Using https instead of http brought the updates.

EDIT2: hmm... or not? I think all that changed is the download URLs, but not the version numbers, or hashes.
